Be Woman Project presented Jenny Sharada, the founder of Be Woman Project and teacher of Vedanta. Sharada guided us in the in the chanting of the 108 names of Sarasvati Devi, the goddess of knowledge and Sacred Arts. The chanting of names of the Vedic goddesses has been an ancient spiritual discipline that is still practiced today. With every name one offers flowers from one’s heart to invoke all the qualities, like compassion, trust, knowledge etc that one admires and are beneficial for one’s spiritual growth. At the same time with every flower one offers back what is no longer serving in one’s life and is ready to let go like blame, judgments, shame and so on. As one sees every moment including the painful ones as an opportunity for growth.
Join Sharada in the chanting of the 108 names of Sarasvati Devi, the goddess of knowledge and Sacred Arts. This is a very meditative and calming practice that one can easily do by oneself one’s initiated. If you wish you can prepare an altar with Sarasvati Devi or any other object that represents knowledge and sacred arts. As well as a bowl of flower petals to join the prayer actively.
